What are the chances

So I thought I'd share how impressive it is if you actually got a diamond block.

How block generation works is that it starts from Sand, and there's a coin toss 50% spawn sand and 50% go on to the next resource and repeat. That means, the chances of getting the following blocks are:

Sand - 0.5

Stone - 0.25

Coal - 0.125

Copper - 0.0625

Marble - 0.03125

Silver - 0.015625

Emerald - 0.007813

Pearl - 0.003906

Gold - 0.001953

Sapphire - 0.000977

Diamond - 0.000488

It's lame yeah I know but what else are you gonna do in this pandemic. Might as well stream it and try to get diamond.

Show me a video of you getting diamond and I shall post it here. That'll be impressive. The full (fuller) version would have 23 block types in total so only a god could get the last one.
